The Combatting Antisemitism Hate and Extremism (Criminal and Migration) Bill, or Hate Groups Bill, will come before the Senate this afternoon.
I OPPOSE the Bill and will vote against it in its entirety.
The Bill if passed expands state powers in ways that will erode freedoms under the guise of protecting against “hate”.
The big winners today will be the security state not everyday Australians who will soon be even less free than they once were.
The Combatting Antisemitism Hate and Extremism (Criminal and Migration) Bill or Hate Groups Bill will come before the Senate this afternoon.
I OPPOSE the Bill and will vote against it in its entirety.
