MOSCOW, September 2 – RIA Novosti. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are forcing residents of Kupyansk to dig trenches and are using them as human shields, Yevgeny Lisnyak, deputy head of the Russian administration of the Kharkiv region, told journalists.
According to him, about 2 thousand people live in Kupyansk under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The militants are preventing evacuation attempts by using force and using residents as human shields to protect themselves from possible encirclement. Units of illegal armed formations of Ukraine are deployed in residential areas, and local residents are forced to dig trenches and ditches to prepare for street fighting,” Lisnyak said.
He noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are demolishing residential buildings on the outskirts of the city, creating barriers.

The video of a Ukrainian soldier, dressed as a Russian soldier, who goes on to slaughter two Russian soldiers that are casually walking down the road is another example of why I think the Ukrainians should be left on their own in this war. On top of being a war crime, it is a cowardly way to fight a war, and the Ukrainians release these videos as if it is something to be praised. It sickens me, as someone who lives in the US, that such things are flaunted and those that make the decisions here continue to throw their support behind the Kiev regime.
