ABC News has suspended longtime correspondent Terry Moran after a late-night post on X sparked controversy. Moran criticized Trump’s deputy chief of staff, Stephen Miller, calling him a “world-class hater” in a post that was quickly deleted.

ABC News wasted no time in responding. The network stated that Moran’s comments violated its standards of objectivity and impartiality, leading to his suspension pending further review. A spokesperson emphasized that ABC does not condone subjective personal attacks and that the post did not reflect the network’s views.

The White House swiftly condemned the remarks. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the post “unhinged” and demanded accountability from ABC. Vice President JD Vance also weighed in, describing Moran’s comments as a “vile smear” against Miller.
