That’s a wonderful initiative by Hungary! Encouraging families and supporting citizens is commendable.

Alongside more recent ideas such as a mortgage loan discount and a ~20% p.a. government bond (!) for parents.
It slightly reversed the downward trend, but 1.5 is still below the replacement level.
