AMY Mek, editor and founder of the RAIR Foundation (Rise Align Ignite Reclaim), a grassroots activist organization comprised of everyday Americans, has posted some incisive thoughts on “Totalitarian Twins: How the Left and Islam Use Each Other to Destroy the West”.
Before 1979, Iran and Israel were allies. Under the Shah, Iran was modern, Western-aligned, and religiously tolerant. Israelis walked freely in Tehran. The two nations traded, shared intelligence, and stood united against rising Arab aggression.
Then came the Islamic Revolution. Leftist revolutionaries and Islamic fundamentalists formed a tactical alliance to overthrow the Shah. Both sides knew they didn’t believe in the same future, but both wanted to burn down the present.
The Left thought it could manipulate Islam. Islam thought it could use the Left. And once the job was done, Islam made the first move: Tens of thousands of communists and Marxists were executed, imprisoned, or disappeared. Sharia replaced Marxism. The mosques outlasted the manifestos.
But it doesn’t always end that way. In Europe, the Left (for now) dominates the narrative, using Islam as a tool of demographic disruption, a battering ram against national identity, Christianity, and the traditional family.
In the West, the Left gives Islam a platform, not out of respect, but out of strategy. It’s not coexistence. It’s mutual manipulation. And Islam doesn’t need to storm the gates, It walks right through them.
It uses free speech to silence speech. Religious freedom to undermine every other faith. Democracy to vote in theocracy. Every liberty it touches becomes a weapon of submission.
Now, that same dangerous alliance is unfolding in America. Not in Tehran, in Washington, Dearborn, New York, Dallas, and Los Angeles. Leftist radicals and Islamic jihadists are marching together, chanting “justice,” “intifada,” and “from the river to the sea.” They riot together. They rewrite history together. They undermine the West – together. Each side believes they’ll come out on top.
Each is using the other as a weapon. But make no mistake: This isn’t a coalition. It’s a collision course. Only one totalitarian ideology will win, eventually. For now, they’re not fighting each other… not yet.
They’re united in one goal: to bring down the West. History shows that once they’re done using each other, they turn on each other – then they turn on us. And if we stay asleep, distracted, divided, and deluded… We’ll hand over our civilization without a shot being fired.

This happened May 2, 2025, in Richardson, Texas, at the Islamic Association of North Texas (IANT). He was sitting next to Texas Imam Dr. Asif Hirani.
The event was backed by ICNA—the U.S. wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, a global Islamic movement pushing for Sharia rule.
Speakers included fellow convert Imam Rahim Ocasio, formerly of the Young Lords, and Imam Khalid Griggs, tied to radical Islamist causes.
This isn’t religious dialogue. This is open ideological warfare—on our soil, using our laws, in your cities. They are openly declaring their numbers, their infrastructure, and their intent. They are not here to assimilate. They are here to replace. And Texas is ground zero.
