Trump Administration Orders Several States, Including Alaska, to Remove Gender Ideology from Sex Ed Materials
By
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Trump Administration has ordered 46 states and territories, including Alaska, to remove all references to gender ideology from sex education materials.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) made the announcement Tuesday. The notice is issued through the department’s Administration for Children and Families.
The notice orders states to remove the references from the federally-funded Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) materials within 60 days.
If the states don’t comply, they stand to lose more than $81 million in federal grant funding.
In a release, DHHS cited the Trump Administration’s “ongoing commitment to protecting children from attempts to indoctrinate them with delusional ideology.”
The PREP program began under the Obama Administration as an effort to reduce teen pregnancy.
